  • The virtual visit fee is a one-time fee charged by the clinician group for the telehealth appointment and prescription evaluation. The charges vary by state and they are not a payment for FC2 Female Condoms. If a 12-month prescription is issued, no additional clinician fees are required for any refills throughout the year.

  • Unfortunately, due to current limitations, we can’t offer online prescription services to women with Medicaid or Medicare as their primary insurance at this time. Veru is actively looking for a solution. This does not prohibit anyone with Medicaid or Medicare from utilizing another telemedicine service or going to their healthcare provider for an FC2 prescription.

Users with Medicaid or Medicare that already have an FC2 prescription either from their healthcare provider or another telemedicine service, are welcome to inquire with our pharmacy partners, Professional Arts Specialty Pharmacy and CarePoint, about getting their FC2 prescription filled and sent to them.

Veru understands the importance of affordable reproductive health choices for all women, regardless of their insurance coverage. We’re actively working towards finding a solution and committed to ensuring access to the FC2 Female Condom, the only female-controlled FDA-approved non-hormonal reproductive health choice for preventing pregnancy and STIs.

To stay informed on our progress, follow us on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook at @FC2USA. You can also email us with any product specific questions at info@fc2.us.com. For any insurance coverage information, please reach out to your insurance provider.

Local pharmacy pickup option also available. Delivery depends on state requirements and insurance coverage. If the prescription is not approved or covered 100% by your insurance plan, your insurance will not automatically be billed. A pharmacist will reach out to discuss.
The FC2 Rx portal is HIPAA compliant and secure.

  • We’re excited to provide the opportunity to get an FC2 Female Condom prescription through our telemedicine partner, Telepath, with the option to fill your prescription through our pharmacy partner, Professional Arts. Here are a few important things to know:

Telepath is partnered with licensed clinicians who will review the medical details you provide and determine if an FC2 prescription is appropriate for you. Telemedicine laws require patients living in certain states to have a live video call with their telemedicine doctor. If a live video chat is required, a doctor will contact you to schedule.

Questions about the FC2 prescription request process? Speak with a member of Telepath’s patient care team by emailing hello@telepath.health or calling 650-479-4773.

Professional Arts Specialty Pharmacy and CarePoint Pharmacy are nation-wide specialty and mail-order pharmacies. Their pharmacy teams will use the prescription information sent by your prescriber to obtain your insurance information. A member of their Customer Care team will contact you through text message or by phone call to verify information, gather additional insurance information if needed, provide prescription status updates, or inform you if further action is needed.

Once this is all complete, the pharmacy will ship your FC2 prescription to you free of charge. Depending on your state and insurance, another pharmacy partner may fill your prescription.

Please contact Professional Arts or CarePoint for any questions about getting your FC2 sent to you or for refills. You can reach out to Professional Arts by calling 888-237-4737 or texting a message to 337-242-8156 during business hours of 8:00 am 5:30 pm CST. If you prescription was sent to CarePoint, you can reach out to them with any questions at (855) 237-9112.
